Master 2D Graphics for Mobile Games

Game development studios need artists who understand both creativity and technical constraints. Our hands-on program focuses on mobile-first design principles and real industry workflows.

Explore Programs

Core Skills We Focus On

Mobile games have unique constraints. Screen sizes, battery life, and user attention spans all affect how graphics should be designed.

Asset Optimization

Learn texture compression, sprite atlasing, and memory-efficient techniques that keep games running smoothly on various Android and iOS devices.

UI/UX for Touch

Design interfaces that work with fingers, not mice. Understanding touch zones, visual feedback, and accessibility across different screen densities.

Animation Systems

Create fluid character animations and environmental effects using bone-based rigs and frame-by-frame techniques suited for mobile platforms.

Visual Effects

Particle systems, lighting effects, and post-processing techniques that enhance gameplay without overwhelming mobile hardware.

Project-Based Learning

You'll work on three complete mobile game prototypes throughout the program. Each project builds complexity while teaching different genres and art styles.

Our curriculum follows actual game development cycles. Start with concept art, move through asset creation, then optimize for different devices and app store requirements.

Classes run three evenings per week, with optional Saturday workshops for portfolio review and industry guest speakers.

Your Learning Journey

Eight months of structured learning with real project milestones

Months 1-2: Foundations

Digital art basics, industry-standard tools, and mobile platform requirements. Build your first simple game assets and learn optimization workflows.

Months 3-4: Character Design

Create compelling game characters with proper proportions for small screens. Focus on readable silhouettes and memorable designs that work in gameplay.

Months 5-6: Environment Art

Design game worlds that guide player movement and create atmosphere. Learn tileable textures, parallax backgrounds, and efficient environment systems.

Months 7-8: Portfolio Project

Complete a full game art package demonstrating all skills learned. This becomes your primary portfolio piece for job applications.

Crisanto Valdez

Lead Graphics Instructor

Crisanto spent seven years at various Manila game studios, working on titles that reached millions of mobile players across Southeast Asia. He's particularly good at explaining complex technical concepts in simple terms.

What makes his teaching style different is the focus on practical problem-solving. Instead of just showing techniques, he walks through the actual decisions you'll face when working with tight deadlines and technical constraints.

Classes feel more like studio mentoring sessions than traditional lectures. Students often mention how his industry stories help them understand the context behind each skill they're learning.
